GLIMPSE OF PISA

We'll be the first to admit that we didn't do Pisa justice. We stopped in Pisa on The Best of Tuscany Tour to see the famous leaning tower and spent less than an hour hanging out in the Square of Miracles (another UNESCO World Heritage Site!). We barely saw the city. Pisa happened to be at the tail end of a long day of sightseeing, and we just didn't have any more time or energy to give it.

Despite our short time, we had so much fun in the Square of Miracles viewing the Romanesque architecture and playing tourists with the famous campanile. We spent most of our time positioning ourselves just right with the camera to make it appear like we were "holding up" that leaning tower. Yes, it was cheesy, but we weren't coming home without that classic photo!

We promise you, Pisa, if we are ever so lucky to be in your presence again, we will stroll your streets, taste your cuisine, and observe the daily life your University city offers.
